I
am 35 and just had my braces
put on last month. My 12
year old and I went to a
consultation together and I
told him, it was my turn
first...ha! I hope my
orthodontist likes our
family because my son is
after me, probably about 4-5
years of having us as
patients...
Anyway...I had no idea what
I was in for. The
spacers...let me just say
again...THE SPACERS are
horrendous. Really, no one
ever told me what a nuisance
they were. My gums itched
and were sore and I actually
took one out the morning
before because I couldn't
hack it...I don't recommend
this, I had just had enough!
Another thing no one told me
was just how crooked my
teeth looked after the
braces were put on...not
cute! I came home and my
kids wanted pizza...yeah
right?? I took the cheese
off the top and that was
that...Milkshake anyone? I
am sure my mouth will be
sore tomorrow, but I am
happy I have finally gone
through with all of this. I
know it will be worth
it...cute little pink bands
and all. So for now I will
just enlighten myself and
read other stories....
