Well I got my ceramic braces
last month. The procedure went better than I had expected. I was
so nervous walking in the ortho's office, not knowing what to
expect because nobody had told me about how the braces would be
put on, so Thank God for this website. It really helped answer a
lot of questions and ease some of my fears. (ed: glad to hear
that!)
I want to reassure people out
there; do not worry about getting them on. It is painless. But I
must admit at this moment I do have a little pain but Advil
helps. My ortho told me to expect more pain tomorrow but that a
pain killer will definitely help a lot. Another thing is that
eating and chewing right now is not possible. So I'm just having
soup and drinking lots of juice.
Overall, ( by the way I'm 25
yrs old) I am glad I finally got these braces on. I been putting
this off for 10 years now because I was more concerned about
appearance. The only thing I regret a little is to have waited
so long. But better late than never, right? I'm glad I finally
got the courage to do this and I want to encourage everyone out
there who need braces but are worried about what people might
say or think, well the only thing I can say is that getting
braces will be the best thing you will ever do for yourself (one
of the best things) the end result will be well worth it.
So people go for it!!! You will
be glad you did and before you know it you will be smiling from
ear to ear and proud! God bless! |
