It has been two days since I got my braces on. I been living off soft foods the last couple of days. I stocked up on applesauce, soup, pudding, and yogurt yesterday. My juicer has also been heaven sent. I am hoping to get back to solid foods soon. Maybe next week...hopefully? Yesterday at work, there was a mini ice cream social for someone's birthday. I had cookies and cream ice cream. BAD IDEA at work. I was in the bathroom for fifteen to twenty minutes brushing and flossing my teeth. I should have known better but it looked so good. Next time we have ice cream at work, I am sticking to the plain ice cream and will save the cookies and cream for home

My first adjustment is September 7. It seems so far from now but I know time will fly by.

I could eat only soft or liquid foods for about six months after I got my braces, and even after that ended up swallowing a lot of things whole. But I still managed it, and now I'm about to get my braces off NINE DAYS.
