Don't worry about it too much. My appliance affected my speech slightly for a week or so until I got used to it. It does get in the way when eating. Especially stringy foods like melted cheese and spaghetti.

4 months down. Just got back from an appointment. Powerchains hurt! I now have 0.016" x 0.022" wires on top and bottom. No elastics this time.

Wow! Incredible results in 4 months.
Round 3 (lifetime) Damon stainless applied 3/16/20 (after 4 weeks attempting invisalign) On for about 18 months
Night time elastics with invisalign retainers; still...
Double jaw surgery was 6/18/15...
Orthodontics never really ends...
I'm emphatically against extraction orthodontics!

Thanks, I am very excited by the progress. Those powerchains really work well! My gaps are already closing up significantly. My top teeth are quite sore today too.

Great movement with those two upper front teeth, mine also flared inwards to meet the bottoms for a bite and I was so surprised to see how they were straightened out so quickly.
