ADULT TOPIC: 18 & Over Only Please
So, my husband and I made an attempt at oral sex (me (female) on him). From his perspective, all was wonderful, but from my side, my inside lips were pulled tight against my braces, and it felt like they were cutting up the inside of my mouth.
I did just receive my big bulk order of Orthosil wax, so I think I might try waxing up to see if it makes it better/easier...but that's a lot of wax to use at one time. I have no idea if it'll even hold, and wax falling off one's teeth isn't the sexiest thing in the world.
My husband is perfectly willing to survive without this particular aspect, but it's something that I really enjoy doing and get alot out of...and there are other reasons I want to be able to still do this. So I'm looking for a solution here. Any ideas? Anything that has worked for y'all?

I agree with Rainy--in general you lips need to adjust to the new rough surfaces on your teeth. By staying well-hydrated your mouth won't be as dry and irritated. It will also just toughen up with time (give it a couple of weeks). It can be a bit tricky with all the extra bulk in your mouth, but hopefully it won't stop you from doing all the things in your life that give you pleasure

Another thing you may try are comfort covers. Lynn has them on her dentakit.com website http://www.dentakit.com/cocoforbr.html
They are basically just plastic tubing that goes over your brackets to make things a little more comfortable in your mouth. You could try them until your mouth gets more used to the metal in your mouth. Like everyone else stated though... give it some time. You will adapt to them.
