Greencapt- Now fortified with 100% more pics
(EDIT ON 11/3/05- UPDATED PICS FURTHER DOWN POST... KEEP SCROLLING!)
Hey all!
I haven't posted in a bit not because I didn't want to but... *gasp*... my wife is 3 months pregnant with our first child! And I thought BRACES were stressful!
Anyway, I'm FINALLY seeing some movement in my extra-crowded uppers! It didn't feel like much until I took some pics and did a comparison. My first adjustment was 2 1/2 weeks ago. The wire was kept the same size (.014) and more powerchains were added to move along some gaps. And- fun fun fun- I got my first wire ties! They're doing a good job but one of them hurt so much going on that I could have ripped the armrest off the chair! But luckily for the assistant I didn't (don't know if my treatment payments cover that )
Having shown off my crooked teeth here before and speaking with the likes of DodgerUK about high levels of crowding I was really excited to see some movement. It doesn't look *too* different from straight on but its getting there!
Whoo-hoo!

Cool!
Wow! You're teeth are moving along. With that expander, you should notice a lot of changes. You're fav part is gonna be when your teeth finally sit side by side. It was definately my moment to weep!

Your making great progress there greencapt -
look at the difference in the shape of your archwire between the 2nd and 3rd pic.
The laterals make a huge difference to the arch and once they are lined up
with both canine's and central incisors on either side,
you'll notice an amazing difference.
Congrats to you and your wife's baby news too.

Happy November everyone!!!! I hope you had a great spooky Halloween and are ready for the holiday season still to come.
What I'm ready for is getting my Quad off in ONE WEEK!!!! Whhooo-double-aught-Hoooo!!!!!!
But until then, here's some updated progress pics for you. I'm seeing some awesome movement now and want to say thanks to everyone who said to hang in there and give hope to all who think nothing will ever happen.

Thanks!
jenns- I'm speechless too! I just looking at that arch and thinking 'is this me?!?!?'. Also I keep licking the back of my teeth and they feel so weird!
alexa- The ligs are a metallicy dark green and I've kept the same color since the start. I like them a lot too! Then again, I *am* a green freak. Maybe I'll change for the next go 'round though.
