Staining silver ligs?
I have noticed that my silver ligs, especially on the top, have taken on a more "golden" hue. Is this due to coffee? Or could it be the pumpkin spice lattes that I have recently developed a fetish for? I thought only the clear and lighter colored ligs would stain.

Looks like I will be going back to magenta then. So far that color has been the best to resist staining. That, and dark blue...but blue makes my teeth look yellow.
I am not about to give up my coffee. It is my one addiction and d*mn it, I am not giving it up.

I got silver ligs the last two check ups and they are doing fine for me. Don't notice much color change, but I don't drink coffee. I drink black tea, green tea, and chai tea. I may go back to the copper ligs I had the first month; I liked them and I didn't notice any staining at all. I think the metallic ligs hold up better. My kid has orange & lime and I'm not sure those would look good with an adult diet, know what I mean?

I am thinking it is the pumpkin spice too. Because my coffee drinking hasn't changed any, and the color of the latte has some bright orange aspects to it.
Guess I am going to have to start using a straw.

I have fluorescent pink (I think its name is "Screaming Pink" or something scary!) on the bottom, and it doesn't show any stain at all. And the clear uppers, when they are removed, look really yellow.
Fluorescent pink is also quite a flattering colour against teeth, I think it de-yellows them if anything (perception-wise). And being pink, even luminous, it kind of goes more naturally in the mouth.

Yep, my silver ligs stained too. In the mirror they actually looked like of greenish, but in pictures they look like the "golden" hue you speak of. It didn't really bother me though, it was nothing compared to the clear ligs turning so yellow they were almost brown. *shudder*
