You'll feel better if you call, but it's probably nothing to worry about. I had one come completely off the tooth on the second day, and they didn't see me for a whole week. It didn't hurt or anything... just hung out on the archwire for a few days.

I only did colors twice- once pink and once light blue. The blue was the best. They actually made my teeth look whiter, and they didn't change colors at all. I was worried that they might turn green. The pink ones were okay, but I was told on the first day that it looked like I had chewed up one of ...

Isn't she the cutest thing? I love her braces updates on Leno. She has done more than one. I couldn't believe it when she whipped out that headgear. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be. Thank God my ortho did not believe in headgear for adults!

Mine only cost $125 to replace. He said they would last about 2 years.

It took me about a week before I really got back into eating. I lost about 10 pounds, which was awesome! A nice side benefit... When I needed softer things after adjustments, I tended to go for soups, especially potato and broccoli cheese, baked potatoes, yogurt, pasta dishes, refried black beans on...

Ranger- Did you wear the retainer as prescribed? I can't imagine how your teeth would move with an Essix retainer. I'm only required to wear mine for 12 hours a day, and they seem to be doing their job pretty well. Of course, I've only had my braces off for a week... I just don't want to have to go ...

I just got mine off on Monday, and it really wasn't that bad. Only a couple of brackets shattered. Apparently it is pretty common, though, and I was lucky. It didn't really hurt except for one stubborn one that didn't want to come off and the drilling to get the bonding material off. The whole proce...

It will get better. I had the same scenario with the small teeth and feeling like I was going to chomp my brackets right off if I wasn't careful. I also had the composite in my molars to help. My bite did return after only a week or so. I was eating chicken strips and potato skins at Bennigan's by t...

I have Essix retainers for the uppers and lowers for now and am supposed to wear them for 12 hours per day. Ortho said I might want to switch to Hawleys after a couple of years since they last longer and my teeth will be more settled by then. My teeth do feel a little weird now that they're straight...

I'm officially FREE! The experience wasn't as bad as I had imagined, even with the ceramic brackets. Only a couple shattered, and most of them popped off with the bonding material in tow. I wish I could post some pictures, but I don't have the right cable for my camera right now. I am really happy w...
