I'm 39 (Turn 40 December) and I got my top ceramic braces back in april and bottom metal last month...welcome to the club!

I got ceramics on the top 18 weeks ago and don't get my bottoms (metal) until september 9th! Hey you! I'm 39 and have had ceramics on top since mid april. I get a tooth removed tomorrow then metal bottoms on 9th september....I'm loving having braces...I think I might actually miss them a little once they're off! Welcome to the 'Cool' Club!

It WILL get easier! I'm about 4 months in and get my bottom brace put on next month...If I'm eating out I always carry a bottle of water in my bag and have a good swill around after I eat...that usually works. I always carry a little bag containing a toothbrush, paste, Interdental brushes and a smal...
