3. For me i got feeling on 95% of my face within 1 month but my left side of my lip and chin took a month longer. It's now exactly 3 months after surgery and i feel 100% now, even though i felt like crap earlier but its worth it.

Out of all my worries this was not even on my mind i was pretty worried about not regaining all of my feeling even though my surgeon told me that theres only a 10% chance of happening. For my experience i acutally woke up during the end stages of the surgery but i quickly went back to sleep.

For me pretty much my whole face was back to normal after 4-6 weeks but my lower lip was still rather large and kind of stands out. I'm not sure if it was because it didn't have feeling or something but it's getting better now.

I was the total opposite of you, after the first week i recovered 80% of my numbness including full feeling of my top lip but my bottom lip and chin was totally numb and i had the tingling sensation all the time as well. I was also told that i would lose 10-15 lbs. but after my surgery i didn't end up losing much i think around 2-3 lbs. I guess its because i ate 5-6 meals of oatmeal and congee a day.

I had my splint for a little over 3 weeks 24 days to be exact and boy was it a sigh of relief...after i got rid of it i was able to talk better and eat a lot better.
