I have been told be my otho at my last visit that it would only be 2 more visits and they should be comming off! My ortho said it would be 18 months, its now been 21 and at my last appointment he still wouldn't commit to any sort of time scale!

I have these at the moment because a bracket came off the archwire and I never got around to going to the ortho about it
Its on to make space for my bottem left front tooth so very visable

I have heard of some people doubling up on here but they seemed to have ok'ed it with their ortho first give them a call if you think it will help

hi jhova I've had my braces for 9 months ish now and i can honistly say i have not to major problems eating theres been a few time when i had to stop just because "oo that was abit tender" and just be care full of that tooth and as for the extrations i could not eat for the rest of that da...

I also cont tell if the teeth are lined up at the back it feels asif my back teeth just about meet but not as they did before and they dont even have any brackets/braces on them

when eating i know that food will get stuck in my braces and just push it awy with my tounge when i have finished it leaves bits but there not that visable

a bonded retainer has no brackets it is just glued onto the back of your teeth
i have seen some that also have bands on (im guessing to keep it in place)

I ve just had my fourth adjustment 2 days ago. before now i have never understood why people say braces hurt so much because they havent for me.
