I bought myself a waterpik for an "early xmas present" haha I love using waterpicks all the time but it really comes in handy when your teeth hurt too much to floss.

Looking at your picture post in June, you did have VERY straight teeth and the bite is looking much better.
I'm glad you're sticking it out to get "perfect" teeth rather than just settling for what may look good right now.

Switchblades, I was seriously contemplating waiting until after the holidays to get them on but decided to bite the bullet and I too hope that they don't hurt come Christmas dinner! BracedVeryLate, did your ortho say anything about why you're experiencing the swelling, redness, etc on those gums? Does he think he needs to reposition/rebond?

I think it looks really good on you and if it's not a problem, keep it. I had a tongue ring (years ago) and I wasn't ready to get rid of it but it caused an absessed tooth While I understand you like it, if it starts to give you ANY problems, take it out don't risk it causing long term damage!
