I've got my first 'proper' adjustment in a few weeks, i'm hoping it's going to be less painful than when I had the top and bottom put on for the first time.

The thing that I find the worst though is not being able eat properly for days afterwards.

I have a power chain on the bottom but I don't think it hurts any more than the rest.

I've been told that I should have fixed braces for 18 months then have a retainer for 6 months after that.

Wouldn't it get all tangled around the wires?

I used Listerine. It so strong it stings a bit but it's really good.

I have my first adjustment in a few weeks, i'm quite nervous about it I must admit.

I just got my brace and it really hurts. I haven't been able to eat since I had it put on. How long does this last for?
