I wanted to see if anyone has had hair loss while braced. I have been in braces for 18months now, am experiencing severe hair loss & all blood work has turned out to be normal. Just wondering if having braces has anything to do with my hair loss.

Thanks for the reply. Thankgod, it wont be bad! Yes, I was given a time frame of 20-24months. I am anxious to know if it will take more or less than the suggested time. Others, please let me know your experiences.

Tomorrow is my appt for 1st adjustment after braces. Can someone tell me what to expect? What are the questions I could ask my ortho? Is it too early for me to ask when is it coming off??
