This is going to sound really wierd but ive had fixed braces for over 3 months and other people on this site have to wear all sorts of headgear appliances etc. Before i got the brace on my teeth were really bad. I guess im wondering why other people have to wear them and i dont??

Ive had braces on for jus over 3 months now and i have a gap in my front teeth that i never had before. The ortho told me that he will fix that eventually. Im sure if u voice your concern he will fix it.

Well done on your decision to get braces!!! Im 23 and took the plunge in may and i have seen i big difference already!! Its well worth it. Getting married was also a major factor in why i got braces. I asked my ortho that question and he told me that it is easier to move the teeth in teenagers than it is for adults. Probably coz the teeth have settled so its harder.

I have the same problem. I gap has developed in between my front two teeth and i never had a gap there before. My first adjustment is on the 8th of August. Does this mean il have to get a different type of brace or will he just tighten the ones i have??Is that a stupid question!!
