Do you mind if I ask what was done to your upper jaw? Your nose pre-surgery is quite similar to mine and the change post surgery is fantastic.

Sorry for being vague. I've read posts where people say they were tightly banded after getting lower jaw advancement. It seems to be something people get to keep the jaws in place after surgery.

Increasing height of upper jaw

I'm still researching this procedure. But I know I need lower jaw advancement. But also think if possible I'd like to have my upper jaw increased in height. I understand they use grafts to do this? Has anyone done this? Most of the posts refer to lower jaw advancement or people having a 'gummy smile...

new to genio- what are bands?

Hi am new here. I wanted to get revision rhinoplasty (based in the UK) but both PS's suggested I go see a max fax surgeon to discuss this procedure as I have quite a recessive chin. I only ever thought implants were possible and only in last week or so have I been seriously looking into this procedu...
