Aw, Joe. That's lame. :( I tell you though, it's those last few months before braces come off when all of the little problems pop up. I don't know why it's so, but it seems to be. I think a lot of us who got debanded kept having our time extended. Certainly no fun! Here's to Oct. 1st being the day! ...

Nope..I haven't had this problem. :( Are you sure the problems are directly related to the retainer? Are you gagging on it? I know you posted this a few days ago...but if it hasn't gotten better, I would certainly check with your ortho if you're positive it's the retainer that's causing the problem....

Your lower retainer is interesting...I never cease to be amazed how different all of our retainers and wear times are.

My ortho was certainly a shut up and let me do my thing ortho. I wish I had gotten vocal earlier on in the treatment. Towards the end, whether she liked it or not, I did start suggesting things and making comments on treatment. On one hand, I think my ortho found it annoying...but on the other hand,...

I know it's nothing, but I still say you have some of the prettiest teeth I've ever seen..their shape and how white they are. After your problems get sorted out, you're going to have an awesome smile. I'm sure of it!

My ortho did take pictures...but they were just polaroids, and they kept them in my file without offering to give me copies. :roll: I took pictures throughout my treatment. Many of the older photos are lousy quality, as I took them with my cell phone and a really poor quality digital that I had had ...
