It has all been said already but trust me he will be fine which is more than I can say for you. My mouth is always shredded to bits afterwards no matter how I go about it. I am thinking of purchasing the lip protector...

Please help! I never needed the wax strip much when I got my bottom braces fitted in September but since having my top brace in last Friday, I cannot do without wax. I am in so much pain and my mouth is shredded to bits. I am close to running out and I cannot find any wax in boots or superdrugs. I s...

Today is my 6th day in braces and for the first 4 I honestly could not imagine eating anything that needed chewing in the next month. I was not an happy person at all! Having lived on porridge, up to 3 times a day (do you know what that does to your body  ) and soup, since Monday I have been i...

Wow, that does seem long! I had my consult and photos taken on my first appointment, and then had the impressions, and braces put on two weeks later! It was done so easily, sorry you have had such problems. This was exactly my experience; I was actually concerned that things had moved too qu...

Great post Shan. I am also 27 and my ortho said exactly the same (except he said sister not kid lol) I came on the forum with exactly the same dilemma as Laura a couple of weeks ago and now feel pretty confident about my choice and because of asking so many's opinion on the boards I feel like it is ...

My treatment estimate has been given as 14-18months so I think that does have to be taken into consideration. TBH I am quite looking forward to having the ceramics now instead of linguals :D

I got quoted £6000 GBP which is approx 12000 USD for top & bottom Incognito Linguals. Although I am in London I have read a couple of people on the forum mention getting it done cheaper. The cost is truly staggering

BTW treatment time given is 14-18months

That sounds way too much! So doing both would cost you £8000? I wasnt even quoted that at the leading lingual ortho at Harley St London! I have no idea if this exchange rate etc would affect it, but if I was you I would go and get another quote, possibly somewhere outside Manchester city centre if...

I can't help but be confused with the differing prices mentioned and I see that the thread is still recent. I got quoted £6000 yesterday for incognito top & bottom but because of the cost have decided to go for InVu ceramics instead at a cost of £3300 but now I think it may be possible to get ...
