Nope...my bottom teeth are straighter. I think it was the way that the dental assistant took the molds. Anyway, all's well that ends well.

Hello All! I got my refinement series yesterday. After my original treatment of 18U/14L, I have 17U/8L for my first refinements. I was comparing the first trays in my original series and the first tray in my refinement series, and my upper canine did look like it had moved at all. I really could tel...

I believe the consensus is that the canines are the most stubborn teeth usually. I had a problem with both my canine on the right side and my lateral incisor on the left. Neither is perfect, but I have seen more improvement with the lateral incisor. There needs to be some more room made for the toot...

I don't believe that wisdom teeth affect the alignment of your teeth until they are actually pushing up against them and there is no room for them to come in without moving other teeth. If the wisdom tooth is already touching your other teeth, then I would probably have it removed before the impress...

Thanks for your response swedishsmile. I am glad to hear that you had success with rotating your canine. It gives me hope! PaulInc, I have an upper canine that needed a lot of rotation and it was moved some during my set of 18 top aligners. The aligners stopped fitting at the end and it didn't move ...

I guess it's not looking good. Thanks for your responses. I wish the orthodontist would've told me this. :x I saw him once during the course of my first set of aligners. He wasn't even there to look at my teeth when I was done and being fit for refinement aligners. The dental assistant copied my que...

Rotating Canines

Has anyone had an upper canine rotated successfully with Invisalign (without ending up in fixed braces)? Thanks for any responses :D

Perfection! Those are some impressive results, but your teeth were not bad at all before treatment. From what I've read on this forum and other places, Invisalign does a great job with closing gaps. I need rotation of canines, which I know is difficult for Invisalign. Thanks for the pep talk Lilypad...

Not to burst your bubble Chris, but my clincheck showed my teeth ending up perfect and they are not! Not even close. I'm about to start my first refinement, so I'll keep everyone posted on the final result.

So no refinement for the top? I can relate to your situation because my plan included 18 top and 11 bottom. Both my top and bottom still need a lot of work, but the bottom does more so. I think they just make it so that your teeth will actually be where you want them after your two refinements so yo...

That's awesome! Did you go through any refinements? Also where did you start from? Thanks for your response Lilypad :D

Is anyone 100% satisfied with their Invisalign results?

Is anyone 100% happy with their results from Invisalign (with no metal braces)? Anyone have a perfect smile thanks to Invisalign?
I'm about to start my first refinement and I'm extremely skeptical that Invisalign will address all of my issues.

One of the dental assistants gave me some whitening gel (Nite White ACP 16%) before I got my attachments off. I used two syringes, at a higher percentage, and had no difference in tooth color when my attachments came off.

I know that my orthodontist includes 2 revisions and actual braces if that's what's needed. I didn't sign a contract when I began treatment (stupid, I know, but I didn't even know about a contract until this forum). During one of my visits a DA told me that there was some problems with a canine that...
