Question about Archwire & Gaps

Hey Guys, I know that if one's teeth are crooked, the archwire will make them straight by going back to it's original shape. Now what if your teeth aren't crooked at all, but you have gaps in your teeth and your bite is off. How does the wire move the teeth back in order to close gaps and fix bites?...

Hi Guys, I have braces to close up gaps and fix my bite. My ortho told me that after treatment I may still have spaces between both upper laterals and cuspids as well as my lower laterals and cuspids. She suggested that I may need bonding done after treatment. Isn't the whole purpose of getting brac...

Hey Guys, I got braced on Sept. 10th. My issue is that I have a lot spaces between my teeth. The first set of braces the ortho placed on are to align my teeth. Although there are plenty spaces, she did say my teeth aren't really crooked, just 2 that have to be aligned before she starts closing the g...

First Time Poster

Hi all, I'm 23 and got braces today for the first time. I have spacing between a few of my teeth and therefore thought braces would help. I do not feel any pain or even added force on my teeth, is that natural the first day? and my Orthodontist scheduled the next visit for Nov. 11th, I thought they ...
