I'm baffled by the number fo people that have had attachments fall off. After the UV curing process, those babies are on solid!! Anyhow, after around aligner #5 will you see a noticeable diff in my opinion. Results will vary of course. Just be patient. Good luck.

Congrats and welcome aboard. Did you get to see the Clincheck before the aligners were ordered? After the mold impressions they usually do the computer simulation work and show you the clincheck with details on attachments and length of treatment. I guess every one seems to be slightly different.

Hi, welcome aboard. I wear my aligners for 2 weeks and see my ortho every 6 weeks. When you say one tray, do you mean only uppers and no lowers or vice versa? It's strange they didn't receive all your trays at once.

I wouldnt worry about speech and self consciousness. I work in pharmaceuticals and interact with dozens of people a day including co-workers. No one has noticed my 8 attachments or do I have slurred speech. The aligners are very thin. I keep my trays on for about >22 hours.

My ortho compares my actual teeth movement vs the virtual clincheck model every 3rd aligner and so far it's been spot on. I guess it might vary with everyone. I'll wait till the end and see how well I'm satisfied.

Weird, I have 34 uppers and 24 lowers. My ortho just offsetted my lowers to start at upper tray #10. That way I finish my upper and lowers at the same time. I drink red wine and gatorade with my aligners on all the time. I just swish water once in a while. They don't stain at all. I sometimes dont even brush my teeth after lunch. My ortho says don't let the braces control your life.
