Just wondering if anyone has some tips for cleaning you aligners?

Hi, just put my first set of aligners in today. My teeth are a little sore however I find that I can really notice myself swallowing. Its like when you at the dentist getting a cavity and you need to consciouly make yourself smile.

Has anyone else had this problem
