Popped one off but apparently not a big deal hrmm...

Dang, I went a little She-Hulk on my new aligner last night and instead of letting my teeth get used to the new aligner I tried to yank it out right away and *pop* off came one of my attachments. Sigh, I couldn't leave well enough alone. Anyway called the ortho's office today and even though my next...

One month into treatment where I wore my aligners every week before changing to a new one and was recently given another 2 months worth of aligners and it looks like I'm still doing the one week aligner plan. Seems to be working for me as my teeth are moving along nicely and each aligner fits fine w...

The low down on my elastics situation in case anyone is interested. Well last week I had my attachments placed on my teeth (16 in total) which was a lengthy process but hey, had to be done and was not painful so I can't complain too much. The attachments rubbed my inner cheeks but that was to be exp...

do attachments come off easily?

Hi all, just curious, when you had your attachments removed did they come off easily or did you find your tooth was left with a matte flat finish? Can you tell there was ever an attachment there to begin with? Does your tooh look the same as before (only straighter of course) I'm only asking because...

I fixed my teeth because I wanted to. People also told me my teeth were fine but I had a very crooked one on the bottom and one of my upper teeth was pushed in more than I would like. I think I mastered how to hide it as well. :) The thing is people will say something is fine, then once you fix it t...

Well I can now say I got used to them (as much as anyone can be I guess ha) That second day was so uncomfortable but now like you all said it's a lot better. I hope you are doing better lomdogs! I know what you mean about cutting your tongue yeesh! But using a nail file helped a lot with that. In th...

I have 41 trays myself :) My ortho gave me my first 4 sets and told me to change them every week. When I'm done wearing all 4 sets I'm having my attachments put on (10 on the top and 6 on the bottom) I'm sure everyone's case is different. My teeth seem to be coming along nicely and by the end of the...

Ha that was hilarious. I'm just always conscious of having this thing resting in my mouth. I don't mind pressure (that way I know it's working) I just feel uncomfortable. The rim of the aligner on my gum is what's bugging me the most. I admit though I'm on day 7 and it has gotten a lot better. I thi...

Thanks for your help! I really appreciate the feedback. I don't think my overbite is TERRIBLE people tell me they can't notice it, but I do (of course ha) I'm hoping the general straightening of the teeth removes the slight "buckiness" I know the elastics are supposed to help with that as ...

elastics and overbites

Has anyone had to use elastics with Invisalign to fix overbites? Has anyone had an overbite fixed with Invisalign period? I keep reading that it doesn't fix overbites but everyone who seems to say that is not an orthodontist nor have they used Invisalign to fix those specific problems. It would be g...

will I ever get used to this...

Hi all, I'm new to Invisalign (just started 4 days ago) and I have to say I'm having a heck of a time getting used to these things. I'm not experiencing any pain, I just can't seem to get accustomed to having these things sitting in my mouth. At times it's all I can do from keeping myself from rippi...
