Hi everyone! I have had my braces off for a couple of months now (i had upper and lower ceramic train tracks.), which were recommended to treat my mild overjet. teeth filing after brace removal??
Hi all! I am due to get my braces off in a few weeks and was wondering if at the same time my ortho would file the bases of my teeth to ensure they were even? Or is this an elective procedure that i would need to make an appointment with my dentist for? I am a private patient in scotland btw. Thanks...

thank you for your help everyone! my problem is very slight and i am a little embarrassed to admit i would be doing it purely for cosmetic reasons! NHS or private?
Hi everyone!
I am considering ortho. surgey but have not yet decided whether to go ahead or not.
However, im just wondering, because no one has mentioned price to me yet, how to find out whether youre eligible to have the surgery done on the nhs or not?

surgery wanted - where to start?
Hello everyone! I am currently wearing braces on both sets of teeth. My dentist noted that I could benefit from oral surgery to bring my bottom set of teeth forward, not for any dental or orthodontic purposes but just to improve me appearance slightly ( i have what i would describe as poor facial co...

NHS eligible?
Hi everyone. Just wondering how you know if you are eligible for ortho surgery on the nhs? My orthodontist said that I could benefit from surgery from a cosmetic point of view to bring my lower jaw forward, but the difference seems so slight that I dont know if id be eligible to have it on the nhs! ...
