Im no dentist but the arch expander costs an extra £150/250. Its required in some cases to create more room in the arch for teeth to be able to be straightened by the inman. since this site has been locked forever, i have had major changes! now finished with aligner and am onto an invisalign brace to to some minor work. I use the bath that it came in. did you get a blue inman aligner holder with it? i fill half of that with hot water and use a denture tablet/steredent, leave it for 10/15 mins. I also take it out and brush it with toothbrush whilst doing my teeth with a bit of toothpaste and rinse it off.

yup, you'll be fine. the first couple of days may be uncomfortable for a small time, but ive now had it a week, and am fine. the talking gets easier, but now seems like a small price to pay in comparision with the quick results. after a few days, it becomes a part of life!!
