Debraced :)

Thank you :D I am surprised that it took 39 months as well. But now that they braces are off they feel surprisingly stable. I think it took so long because with the self-ligating brackets I only went in every 2 months. But when I had powerchains and STILL only went in every 2 months, they lost their...

My baby is almost 2 now and has never seen me without braces. But I'm FINALLY getting them off Thursday after 39 mont...

Well your AHI is not too bad (above normal, and we've had patients with and AHI of 86!), so you would probably benefit from the surgery. I do precertification for insurance, and the UPPP is one procedure that insurance companies don't like to pay for! Make sure that if you have it done your doctor's...

I don't have those problems, but I do work for an ENT and we do the UPPP surgery all the time. Do you still have tonsils? If you do they may be hypertrophic (even is you don't have a sore throat) and sometimes just removing them can help the sleep apnea. If not then you should consider the UPPP. Wha...

3rd adjustment today (06.15.2009)

I had my 3rd adjustment today, and I am now 6.5 months into braces :D I finally got the bottom laterals bonded, and a stronger wire on top, and a pink PC to start closing to gaps on top. I don't need the pink ligs on top, but I thought it was nice of the girl to offer to make them match at little be...
