It took me a few months to get use to them Now its like I have alwys had them, except when I want to look "Grown Up" I have a young look to begin with so these braces make me look like a teen but I am a wife and mother so thats really the only time I hate these things.

I really eat whatever I want except caramel, and gummy bears/gummy candy. I will eat Twix because I dont chew it but no snickers or anything like that.

I have had my braces for only 2 months (upper 2 months , lower 1 month)but so far its every 4 weeks and they seem to change the wire every 8. Thank you. Its hard to cut down because my teeth NEVER feel clean, no matter how much I brush, they just feel dirty, its weird.

It may well be intentional. Sometimes in the beginning when teeth are crowded they leave one or more teeth not connected to the archwire.
