Will require 2 bulky archwired retainers. Already conscious of my metal braces and fear I will not cope with them. Heard you get a mouthful and I am quite fearful ? What do you think ?

As I my upper and lower look strongly metallic with elastic chain, when I smile I really feel handicapped with my metal mouth. In the train people look at my braces when I open my mouth. Now that I have been wearing braces for 14 months I feel that my teeth would fall off if my heavy metal braces were removed. I can nearly feel each single tooth moving. Incredible feeling. What a shame my braces are so heavy and bulky. METAL huge METAL Mouth ! How do you feel ?

Will wear those retainers shortly. I have been told they are very bulky and impede your speech. Do you have a mouthful right at the beginning ?

Always feel frustrated smiling with my heavy metal braces.
they feel bulky and ugly I have been told. Very heavy indeed in my mouth. Feel like having 2 rows of teeth. Any reactions on your side ?
