Mine look much better with my aligners in. I think not only more uniform, but fuller and even whiter too. The challenge is understanding whether my teeth can be made to look like that with refinements or whether I just have to get used to them without my Invisalign in. yeah exactly - well my lowers...

I prefer my teeth with my aligners in!

Just popped in my ‘last’ uppers (number 20 of 20) and my teeth look great (obviously) – but I have to say they look so much more flush and even with the aligners in – I’m not disappointed per se just I can’t help but think… why cant they look like they do with Invisalign in! Anyone kno...

I switch Wednesday night (just put in my penultimate uppers last night! - woot (etc) )

That way I can go out for a meal on Friday and/or Sat pain free!

My first appointment was on a Thursday so just changed a day early once - works for me - means my weekends are always easy.

If you have the next one, go forward. The same thing happened to me my dentist said it's ok if it happens once or twice.

My flight is over 10 hours so I'm not sure how that will work. I don't think I'll miss the food too much but I'm thinking will have to taken them out at least twice.

Ok thanks for the responses!

Invisalign and long haul flights

Who has done this

Flying next week and I'm thinking of just skipping a few meals and drinking white wine/beer - mabe saving all the 'yummy' stuff for all in one go

I'm used to not eating anyway so shouldn't be a problem

what has everyone else done?

OK little update So I changed 4 days early with my new aligners – this works well as I’m in China next week with work so it means they will be in well over a week on the flight and at client meals etc. I have started using a handkerchief to take off the top ones (for grip) and this works well â€...

How big is the crack and where is it located? When i've cracked mine, the cracks were normally just under an attachment, but i've also cracked them in the joins between teeth. it is inbetween the teeth kind of thing - right down till halfway on the bottom. I took it off from the other side this mor...

My dentist actually emailed me back within 10 mins (late on a Sunday night, nice guy). Basically he said I could file down the crack (which I didn't understand) maybe he thought it was sharp and digging into me. He said I could come in tomorrow and he would file down the attachment until later on th...

Ok so they were a lot harder to get off, I did have a hook to help but found it easier with my fingers. Day 2 of this aligner and I had the half hanging syndrome :) By day 3 it was a lot easier, seemed looser, popping them off in about 5 secs. Tonight though it was difficult to get off and after a b...

Yikes – having 9 attachments tomorrow

Just how will this affect my taking out the aligners – I’m normally pretty quick and there is no inconvenience at all – will it be alright pain now or are they easy once you get used to them?

Aligner 2 update – when they first went in I had had about 5 pints so maybe a bit desensitized, they were very snug and I could totally tell which teeth were moving! I left them in for like 14 hours before taking them out for breakfast/lunch on Saturday – and wow it was so much harder! It is ver...

Well it's day 1 of the new aligner - I put it in last night (after a few drinks!) and it felt tight but no pain (so far).

It's weird 'feeling' the different teeth move, but it's not realy even uncomfortable never mind painful.

So far so good, I haven't taken them out yet tho!
