I wasn't wired shut but was very tightly banded for about 3 weeks. I lost 4kg but gained it all back hehe

jaw clicking?

Hi Everyone,

I am almost 6 months post-op, and recovery is going well. But on occasion when i chew (food besides soft) i get a clicking in jaw. It happens very rarely but am slightly concerned! Any comments thanks!

i am 21 and 3 months post op from lower jaw surgery and genio. I have almost all the feeling back so hang in there :) However, i no longer have the tinggling sensation so im not sure if this means i've regained as much feeling as possible?

i think its a good idea to try and get back into your routine the minute you feel up to it :) I took 3-4 weeks off work and at about 5 weeks my holidays ended and i was back at uni

2 months post op - difficulty with mouth opening

Hey everyone. I am 2 months post op - almost 3 from my lower jaw surgery and chin. Although i am very happy with the results, i am a little worried about opening my mouth. I can only open about 2 fingers wide still. Also, when i open my mouth, i feel this awkward pinching on the left side of my jaw....

hey there, i took vitamin C and drank plenty of water, walked just about every day and found it helped with the bruising and swelling also.
