I had my linguals on yesterday and my speech is awful, especially 't' 'st' 'ch' 'ds' and 's'.
I'm mortified as I had linguals so noone would know I've got braces, but I'm having to tell people because they are asking why my speech is so bad!

My ortho gave me some of this when I had my linguals fitted yesterday. I found it really hard to squeeze out of the tube but easier to apply than the brace gard strips he gave me which don't stick unless the brace is dry. You have to make sure you use enough so the wire doesnt poke out when its set.

I'm in UK and got:

*A tube of brace-eze
*A brace gard travel kit (3 strips and a mirror)
*a mirror
*a travel toothbrush
*Mouthwash
*An egg timer and disclosing tablets
*A orthospace toothbrush
*leaflet about brushing/what foods to avoid etc
