I still feel like my nose looks big. I know a lot of the time the tip of th...

Anyone had screws removed? rop

I had my surgery in Feb and then had to be opened again in April to have my septum put back in place, since it shifted. Everything is fine now and I am nearly healed. I almost feel like I never even had surgery. My braces will be coming off next month. However, there is a screw near my nose that my ...

Face Skin post op questio

Hi. I am 8 weeks post op and normally have good skin. The last couple weeks I have noticed that my skin around my nose/chin/mouth to be super dry/flaky, like it hardly can be washed. My usual cleanser hardly ever made me flaky and it has been lately. Also, I notice some tiny pin head pimple around m...

well update. saw the plastic surgeon yesterday and he said it will be easy to fix, and it is a fairly simple and easy to recover from procedure. But he wants to wait 6 months ( well he's going to evaluate me in 12 wks and we will have to have the surgery by the end of july, which will be 5 months, s...

yes just talk to your surgeon. thats what I did. He may be like mine and just want to wait until some of the swelling subsides. But I am sure he will rec you to someone who can help. you may have something like I have. but I think it is fixable. I will let you all know how it all goes.

well I guess most people don't have really short upper lip. I am hoping maybe the muscle just hasn't adapted yet, and maybe it is just my muscle memory going on. And perhaps there are some muscle exercises I can do.

great, more surgery. Well it probably will be nothing compared to all the jaw stuff I had. I am trying to be positive. hehe. We all noticed right away that my nose was crooked. However, I remember from my first surgery (a few years ago) that this happened b/c of the swelling. Upon closer examination...

Those who had Chin/Lip strain: post-op question rop

I am bored and don't see my surgeon for a few more weeks so I thought I would post my thoughts and compare them you you all's answers. lol! Anyway, I am healing well. I had quite a lot of lip/chin strain pre-surgery. I was made aware that I may always have to strain slightly to shut my lips all the ...

Loose skin rop

did anyone have loose skin, a slight sag under their chin or neck after their surgery? did this tighten up on its own? It makes sense that if the muscles/bones had grown long/downward and then they were shortened or rotated that it might leave some excess skin.
