Had my first adjustment today. My teeth hurt when they took the ligs off! Not so much the process of taking them off, but I had to wait about 10 minutes with them off for my ortho to get done with another appointment, and during that time my teeth throbbed . Right now I'm just hoping they won't make me wait another 5 months to get the bottom braces on. The better my top teeth get, the worse the bottom ones are bothering me since they're so crooked!

Hey hey, my top midline is actually about at the middle now! And I'm really pleased with how far outward my molars have moved. ok, 3 weeks with my braces on, and finally I notice some movement, and there's some wiggling going on!

I was eating normally after about 8-9 days, with some tenderness when I tried to eat crunchy foods. It's been 2 weeks now, and I'm eating anything.

I'm 25 and wearing metal braces. I haven't gone for colored ligs yet, only gray. They are almost the exact color of the metal, so they really aren't noticible and don't stain.

I just don't understand why you would need to wait any time after you've had the surgery. You won't be on any medications or anything, will you?

I'm not sure I understand your reason. Why would it not be okay to get pregnant after the surgery?
