Just a quick update.. just had my first adjustment after roughly 8 weeks.. had the wire changed and now have a gold coloured one which is supposed to be 'less inconspicuous' as the orthodontist put it.. :-S so far no pain but we shall see! I've had dreams like that too.. one where my 4 front teeth fell out and were just hanging on the wire and I was trying to 'fix' them back in.. one where one of my front teeth moved back behind the other.. and another where a bracket came off and I was thinking 'when am I going to fine the time to go...

I have a clear self-ligating brace ontop.. it's a bit more visible than traditional ones as I have a little metal clip either side of the bracket to hold the wire but as everything I eat seems to be red or yellow I think in the end ligatures would colour and be more obvious than the metal.
