I have found that the mouthwash with peroxide in it in the oral care aisle has been a godsend. It really helped my mouth heal quicker.

I can't handle anything that is not soft. I did suck on a potato chip tonight though. lol My teeth didn't hurt until yesterday; there is movement so now they hurt. Mostly it's been my tongue and cheeks that had hurt the most.

I've lost 3 lbs since TUESDAY! I have my upper braces and an expander on the bottom. My TEETH don't bother me it's the inside of my mouth, the cheeks, and my tongue. They are all covered in sores from the brackets and such. Swallowing hurts at times. The hardest thing I've eaten so far is a tiny pie...

Hi. I got my upper braces on tuesday and then the expander on my bottom teeth yesterday. My mouth is killing me! I am just getting the hang of how best to use the dental wax.
