Sorry, new to this experience... what exacatly does SARPE stand for? I just started the braces process about 3 weeks ago - after 18 months I will have surgery to have my lower jaw moved forward, then 6 more months of braces. Kinda nervous overall, but counting on it to fix my problems!

I got my braces just over a week ago... I've lost 13 pounds... I can't bite down to chew food, and soup is getting very old. I'm drinking protein drinks, but it's frustrating not being able to bite down at all. My molars don't even come close to touching. My ortho says "that's normal"... w...
