How long after the braces were intially put in, did you have the wire change to the thicker one? I have my second appointment in July which would be like two months after the braces were 1st put in (about 2 weeks ago). Is that when they would change the wire?

My dentists wants to make adjustments 2 months after the first appointment. I dont feel any pressure on my teeth now and i am wondering if i should call them and ask them for an earlier appointment to tighten my wires. Has anyone heard of power wiring? I had the same problem with my top 2 teeth in the middle. The pain from those 2 teeth was the worst and i could not floss. But it has been 12 days since i got them on and now there is no pain and i can floss everywhere with no pain.

I have huge gaps in my lower teeth and my dentist told me that closing the gaps will be first thing that will be done with lingual braces. And no, no one has noticed my braces or wires sticking out unless i tell them.
