Minimum requirements for Invisalign
I agree that this move by Invisalign will ensure better treatment for patients, however this is a big risk for them as they will lose a lot of revenue. This is particularly true with newly certified providers. Since new providers will be only be gradually getting new cases and will be more selective...

Invisalign and eating
This disadvantage of eating with the aligners on is that food may get traped under the invisalign aligners and that they will stain faster. In addition, the temperature of hot foods/liquids may distort the invisalign aligners.

Invisalign outcome
Most people are very happy they had Invisalign after the treatment is over. The results an be fantastic and during treatment, most people will not even know you have braces.

Invisalign and excessive saliva
Excessive saliva is also common with Invisalign users. The reason is that it is a reflex, something in your mouth (ie. food) stimulates the salivary glands to release saliva. Soon your brain will realize that the aligners are not food and the excess saliva will eventually go away.
