Thanks everybody! I was worried that after I went through all of this I would regret my decision to get braces but that's not the case at all. I'd do it all again if I had the chance.

my gums are starting to get better. They're a little red but not too swollen. I did floss some with braces on but not everyday like I did before braces. I got my braces off 3 days ago and my gums have been pretty sore ever since debanding. I haven't really been able to brush as good as normal so I'm counting on Listerine to get rid of germs. I guess what I'm asking is, should my gums be this sore after debanding? If this is normal I'll just keep up ...

thanks aznfayeth! no, I didn't get any gum reshaping, I didn't even really know you could do that. Anyway, I'm sure your teeth will look great once you get your braces off.

Well, the removal went great. I no sooner signed in and sat down and my name was called. I will admit I was nervous but I didn't really care what they were going to do to me because I knew I was getting my braces off. Being naked is so wonderful. Sorry I haven't posted yet, I never had anytime yesterday. I'm going to give you all the details and some before and after pictures later this afternoon when I can get back on. I will say one thing, it was worth every minute of being braced.

Tomorrow is the big day. I'll be going in at 9:00 in the morning to get my braces off. I can't believe the time has finally come. Anyway, I'll get some pictures up as soon as possible.
