I got my four bicuspids removed my second month in braces. My ortho said he wanted to get things loosened up before pulling my teeth.

I am sorry you are having such a hard time with this. I had 4 bicuspids extracted in June. While I didn't have the immediate regrets as you seem to be having I often look at my teeth now and think, "why did I do this?" My teeth were not so bad and many people make the comment that they did...

My bottoms hurt more than my tops. At my adjustment today the ortho made the comment that my bottoms were moving better, so I guess the pain is worth it.

I like the Crest glide threader floss too. I like that it is wrapped individually, and it seems to do much better than the Oral B did for me. Like its name it seems to glide easier between my teeth and doesn't get caught as easily on my brakets. I hated the super floss. I'll pay the extra $ for the ...

I had 4 bicuspids extracted in June. I have only had one adjustment and he put powerchains on the back teeth. He wants to move my teeth back a little at a time. So now my teeth are getting worse before they get better. They are more crooked and new gaps are forming. I go next week for an adjustment ...

edit above post:
where I work, not were I work.

You would think a teacher would be able to use correct grammar. I guess I am still on summer vacation.

It is hard to know what to tell you without knowing your work atmosphere. Were I work we are very laid back and it is common to tease (all in fun) each other about all kinds of things. We have a blast and it is never done to be hurtful. As far as my braces go I am lucky that there are four other tea...

I decided on all metal mainly because of cost. But I teach elementary school and knew I would get colored ligs, so there was no reason to get clear. There are four other teachers at my small school in braces, so it is not a big deal I am in braces.

I know what you mean about the itchy gums. That is exactly what I kept telling my husband. My gums itch. Of course my teeth would hurt after eating, but they mainly itch. It is very annoying. And as far as the gaps appearing quickly, that is what happened at my adjustment yesterday. I had 4 teeth ex...

I have always clenched my jaw, especially when stressed. But I find that it is worse now that I am in braces. I tend to "chew" on my back bands. I think at first it was because the excess cement bothered me but now I think it is a habit. I have to consciously make myself relax my jaw. It i...
