Well, my ortho was certain and told me that i definitely won't have to wait longer than two weeks.. it might be that your ortho didn't send your moulds straight away and that delayed everything, but on the other hand it could be Invisalign :roll: :roll: I've got 6U/10L refinement trays, and hopeful...

After finishing my first 19 trays, my front teeth are still not quite straight so I am of course going through my first course of refinements. Now i went to have my new impressions done with my ortho on 26/10/2010 and I am still waiting for the refinement trays to arrive from invisalign. At the time...

I got my impressions done just over 6 weeks ago for my refinements and my ortho is still waiting for them to arrive from invisalign, im based in the UK btw.

Is this standard? Cant remember how long it took for my initial trays to come after my impressions but 6 + weeks seems a long time.

Thanks for the response, thats more or less what i thought(and yes i was aware the refinement trays are made from the same material :D :wink: ). I guess i should probably expect an attachment on that tooth this time around or at least some difference in how the trays are shaped and designed to move ...

I am coming towards the end of my invisalign treatment(21 of 22 trays) however i am fairly sure i will need refinements as i know one more tray is not going to get my teeth to what i want given i have paid £4k for this treatment. Can anyone confirm for me how many course of refinements are included ...

I am the same Im on 14/18 top aligners 10/10 bottom and I prefer how my teeth look with the aligners in! Never thought i would ever say that when i started, will take some getting used to not having them in when im finished.

I was going to ask this myself. I am on tray 4 currently and have worn each try for 3 weeks except this tray which he told me to wear for four, my dentist also says he sees better results this way.
