Oh boy do I know how you feel lol. I had mine in for 3 years which included literal blood and tears lol. Thanks for all the feedback. At my appointment on Thursday they doubled up the powerchain on the top. It looks like the gap is finally starting to close. My ortho could tell I was getting frusterated. Hopefully after another 2 months they will finally becomming off!

Thanks for the input as well VA5! I was quoted for 2years and paid for 2 years but since they extended the treatment I'm now stuck paying for every visit. I change mine out 2-4 times per day. My ortho said to not worry about eating with them in because more than likely they will snap. However I have never had them snap on a daily basis so maybe you should check with your ortho on it?

I got my bands in December. I've been in treatment for 2.5 years now. I was quoted 2 years but my teeth had other plans lol. But I was told at my last appointment I have 4-6 months left. However I've been really slacking on wearing my elastics so I'm thinking it will be more like 8 months.
