I recently noticed that I tongue thrust. And well, That has resulted in protruding upper jaw and a receding lower jaw, I believe! I am seriously considering correcting tongue thrusting because I could really feel the pressure on my front jaw teeth. Are tongue thrusters usually mouth breathers?

Anyone from Newzealand? How much did your surgery cost ? and how much did the insurance cover?

I have a receding lower jaw and an open bite. I havent really met with a orthodonist yet! anyone from here who has done a surgery? And how did it go? Do you know any good surgeons around auckland? how much did your insurance cover?
