It didnt take too long to change the wire - what took the time was undoing the brackets and tightening them back up again and making spaces The dentist has advised me to take painkillers an hour before next time - as i have to say it does hurt. I have a 6 month smile brace and after a month my overlapping front teeth are straight but i have a small gap between them - Im actually really excited about the gap which is a bit sad - just cant believe that tehy no longer overlap. I have been braced for a few days now - i have 6 month smile braces and the plastic brackets seem to stick out so far - plus my teeth are wonky which i guess doesnt help - I've just about managed to get my wax on 3 brackets this evening - hooray! The blobs never seem to want to stay on the brackets!...

the brace fitting itself doesnt hurt at all. I had mine fitted on thursday... the fitting was pain free, my teeth are aching however since Friday, but i'm only three days in and am told by my teens at work that after a week you start to feel better. Is my tooth moving the wrong way?
I got my braces two days ago, my front two teeth are crooked- they over lap. I feel like my tooth that overlaps is getting more overlapped and is pushing inwards towards my mouth - the bracket seems not so central as the others but that might be intentional? bite bumpers
I can only eat soft food as I cant bite... would be good to lose a few pounds on the way... but it's so frustrating! Has anyone esle got bite bumpers? How do you cope?
