its my day 6 too and my sore mouth is starting to feel better too... so there you go, it does get better. Now, the dentist has told me to start flossing...that should be mighty fun!

I have been braced for a few days now - i have 6 month smile braces and the plastic brackets seem to stick out so far - plus my teeth are wonky which i guess doesnt help - I've just about managed to get my wax on 3 brackets this evening - hooray! The blobs never seem to want to stay on the brackets!...

They do give you breaks in between so you will be able to move your mouth. Are you having top and bottom done?

the brace fitting itself doesnt hurt at all. I had mine fitted on thursday... the fitting was pain free, my teeth are aching however since Friday, but i'm only three days in and am told by my teens at work that after a week you start to feel better. I can only eat soft food as I cant bite... would be good to lose a few pounds on the way... but it's so frustrating! Has anyone esle got bite bumpers? How do you cope?

I'm up early today so thought I'd give a quick update... School was interesting - all of the staff said they never realised my teeth weren't straight ( so I'm thinking - why am I having this done!?
