lingualita I have a overbite as well. My ortho didn't want to extract any teeth yet. so Im just curious why you had couple extracted. I had my uppers put on last week and lowers last month. I havent seen any change so far. Im having more difficulty with the uppers in regards to speech and eating.

Wow! what a difference between the lower and upper. The lowers were no problems with speech and no pain. With the uppers, my teeth hurt and speech is difficult especially with the s's. Having the uppers on are a little more uncomfortable. Will this get better? or am I stuck with this feeling for the...

lisa, I can still only eat soft foods, just cut and swallow. Eating takes a long time. Does this get better over time? Gums feel a little swollen? Is this normal?
