Jsut got debanded on Monday, and my new retainer yesterday...I have Hawley retainers on top and bottom and both have a fake tooth in them to have until I decide to get implants or not...it's been about 24 hours now, but boy, are they supposed to hurt so much when I take them out? Well, today is day 5 and I still feel the same.....my mouth is uncomfortable, I still have sores, and trying to eat a piece of lettuce today was just too much on my teeth do you all PROMISE that I won't feel this way forever???

I just got ceramic braces Monday and my mouth has so many sores, and my teeth don't touch together to chew, and I am just MISERABLE! Can someone please tell me this will get better and when?? I hate to whine, but I never thought I would feel this bad!
