Thanks, I'll try that. I never thought to take my ipod with me so maybe that will help.

Re: debanding...what to expect?

Thats exactly what I was afraid of!! And I already use Sensodyne! I've used it for years now...

I should be excited to get these things off but now I think I'm starting to dread it instead.

debanding...what to expect?

I officially have debanding date :-* , and I'd like some honest info on what to expect. Please dont sugar coat it and tell me its not that bad if it really IS that bad. Sometime last year I had to have 3 of my bracket removed and repositioned and I didnt like it at all. It hurt to have the brackets ...

wire is shifting on its own

My bottom wire has completely shifted 3/4 of an inch to the left. So now on my left side the wire is protruding out that far and on the right it is no longer even in the back bracket at all. It doesnt bother me or anything. The wire hanging out too far is kinda slanted down so it isnt poking me or a...

I should have added that when I went in for my adjustment that they did put the new wire in through all of my brackets, including the very back ones. Its just now, 2 weeks later that it has shifted out of the bracket.

bottom wire too short?

When I first got my braces put on, they went ahead and put the brackets on all my teeth, including the very back. The top wire went through all the brackets, but the bottom wire did not. They intentionally did not put the wire through the very back brackets. So, I went in 2 weeks ago for my first ad...

need feedback on whats best...

I've been searching for the best sonic toothbrush for braces and I cant really find much info on them. I like how slim the oral-b pulsonic is but when I was reading reviews some people said it wasnt really a "sonic" toothbrush, just a slight vibration.... I definately want one that is good...

I would just make a call to your ortho and find out if the door was meant to be left open on purpose or not. If it isnt then they should have you come in and close it for you. In the second pic it looks like the wire isnt even in the bracket all the way...and yeah that means that tooth is not gettin...

Dont tell us that they "dont look THAT bad" especially when we didnt ask you how they look in the first place. That just insinuates that they really DO look that bad.

I'm currently in treatment for a severly deep bite myself. I've only been braced for 18 days  but going to take pics periodicly to keep up with my progress. I'm curious too to see if it changes the shape of my face any so I guess I'll just have to wait and see! :)

Hey, I have ceramic uppers and metal lowers, and I also have a very deep bite. (In fact, my top teeth did completely cover my bottom teeth) Anyway, my ortho told me that because of my deep bite, I could not have ceramics on the bottom because the ceramic brackets can break easier from my top teeth h...

I would DEFINATELY recommend that you go see another ortho! It never ever hurts to get a second, third or even fourth opinion! Consultations are usually free anyway so you shouldnt lose anything by trying!
