Many thanks for the replies .

I suppose two things are vital during orthodontic treatment. Trusting your orthodontist and paitence.

and flossing and eating the correct food and keeping you appointments........................

Repositioning brackets

17 months into treatment now. Ortho said he's going to reposition brackets on my incisors in 8 weeks (next visit). No explanation, although they probably need to be brought down a bit as their above all other teeth and a bit on the pointy side. Anyone else had brackets repositioned this far into tre...

Wow!!

Your smile looks great.

I had a very similar upper and lower arch to yours and i'm nowhere near completion. I'm 15 months in braces.

Now I'm actually thinking of bringing your pics into my ortho tomorrow morning and throwing them on the desk!!!

Addicted to dental

Anyone else with the same problem......... Just can't stop buying dental cleaning equipment and accessories. I go to buy some bread or milk and come back with one or all of a new toothpaste, mouthwash, dental-wax, toothpix or brush. The dental section of most stores is a magnet to me. (Metal?) There...

Actually found some pics...

Trying to find a couple of genuine photos showing my teeth has been tough, anyway, 11 months consigned, 6 adjustments, 4 extractions, 4 powerchains and a bit of pain later, I'm starting to see a difference. http://img532.imageshack.us/img532/382/img1512p.jpg http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/5857/cop...

module

Hello all.

Quick question. My orto fits 'modules' to my archwires during appointments. They seem like tiny metal bands that fit or are swueezed arounf the archwire, between brackets...................can anyone identify their purpose??

extractions

Know how you're feeling. Visited the ortho yesterday for my 4th check-up after 8 months in braces. He tells me I need the have 4 pre-molars removed cause my teeth are 'splaying'?. Wasn't too impressed as I had said from the outset to remove teeth if necessary, but he said I probably would'nt need ex...
