whitening teeth question
Hi everyone, I have a question about whitening teeth. I got my braces off a few months ago and I got a night whitening kit to use. I have been using it every night for a week so far and I haven't seen any changes in the colour of my teeth. I didn't expect to see major changes in just a week, but at ...

spaces/gaps with a permanent retainer on?
hi everyone, i had my braces taken off almost two weeks ago with a permanent wire placed on my upper and lower front teeth. I noticed a few days ago that I am now getting spaces/gaps in between my teeth where the bonded wire is (my front 6 teeth). I am surprised at seeing this since I thought the bo...

Re: Spacing after Permanent Bottom Retainer?
unfortunatly, i am experiencing the same problem :( My braces came off just 2 weeks ago and I noticed last night, while flossing, that I am getting spaces on my top teeth where the bonded retainer is. I didn't think that would happen because from what I understand the fixed retainer is there to prev...

Re: Invisalign & Braces: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, IMO
Invisalign has tons of PROs and this is undeniable. Sure we have some BADs as well, like cutting gum, brushing your teeth in public restrooms and so on. But what is really ugly for me is the fact that I can't " dispose " of my teeth as I want! When you are with Invisalign there is no cupc...

Re: De-braced and Happy!!!!
THANK YOU!!!
it feels so weird being in the bathroom for a few minutes brushing, rather than a long time with my several steps of cleaning (waterpik, proxy brush...)

Re: Invisalign & Ceramic Braces: The Good, The Bad and the U
One of the well-known parts of Invisilign is that Invisilign will make trays for anybody, even if their method won't work for your situation. They are just a dental lab, not orthodontists. Just like a pharmacist will fill any valid prescription, Invisilign will run any set of impressions through th...

Invisalign & Braces: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, IMO
Hello, everyone! Since I got my braces off yesterday, I now have fully experienced both Invisalgn and Ceramic Braces and I wanted to share some pros and cons on these two methods of straightening your teeth. I thought I’d share my opinion because new people browsing on this board are thinking about ...

De-braced and Happy!!!!
I GOT MY BRACES OFF, just in time for Christmas.
When i got home yesterday, I put my proxy brushes and water flosser away and I began throwing out all my "braces" equipment-wax, elastics, extra toothbrushes....it felt so theraputic

Re: space opening very close to debrace day?
great! thanks for the replies
i have noticed the space has gotten smaller over the last few days, but it is still there; but it is so small that it doesn't really bother me. But if a retainer closes it completely then that's even better!
