I am been undergoing my treatment for 7 months and since day one I have been using teflon ties that were tied around each individual bracket. When I went in for an adjustment this week the assistant used one piece of wire through the entire upper jaw. Would this result in a different movement?

I have radiance braces on the top and love them. Most people can't notice them either

I have metal braces but I still feel my teeth will never look as white as they once did. I am fairly good with brushing my teeth especially after meals but any suggestions?

and by tooth i mean teeth

I'm not sure if I am just being careless or my tooth are just moving but I find my end wires are constantly popping out. In some instances I am able to get them back into the tiny little hole but most often not they just stab the sides of my cheeks.




Does this happen to you too?

I got my first adjustment yesterday it took about 30-40 minutes. You don't really feel much pain till the following day. So if anything I would suggest going back to work after the adjustment and perhaps taking the following day off. Stack up on some tylenols for the week!

Were there any dramatic differences in the treatment time quoted by your orthodontist and the actual time?

I know personally, getting braces was a huge undertaking on my self esteem. Even now I still don't feel incredibly beautiful in them but each day I am so happy I got them put on and have no regrets. one of my teflon ties came undone and fell of, so i currently have no tie of any sort around my bracket. i am away at college, so my ortho is a good 2 hours away?

is this an urgent matter i should go back to fix

my next adjustment is in 5 weeks
